Rising cases of swine flu may cause concern, yet there is no reason for alarm. Several straightforward measures can help guard against various flu viruses, including swine flu. It is unnecessary to adopt every suggestion simultaneously. Individuals may select combinations that fit their needs. These steps offer only partial support if flu symptoms are already present.
1. Consume five washed tulsi leaves each morning. The plant offers multiple health benefits, clears the respiratory passages, and supports resistance to infections.
2. Prepare a decoction using a one-foot giloy stem, five or six tulsi leaves, and water boiled for fifteen to twenty minutes. Add black pepper and appropriate salt or crystal sugar to taste. Drink the warm mixture daily. If fresh giloy is unavailable, use processed powder from established suppliers to create a similar drink.
3. Adults may swallow a small piece of camphor with water once or twice monthly. Children can take it mixed with mashed potato or banana. Use only once per season or month.
4. People who tolerate garlic should eat two raw cloves each morning with warm water to support natural defenses.
5. Those without milk allergies can drink a glass of warm milk with a pinch of turmeric each night.
6. A teaspoon of aloe vera gel taken daily with water may aid skin, joints, and overall resistance.
7. Homeopathic preparations such as Pyrogenium 200 and Influenzinum 200, taken as five tablets or two to three drops three times daily, may help prevent common flu strains.
8. Practice pranayama regularly, ideally with guidance, and maintain a routine of morning walks or light jogging to keep the respiratory system and body strong.
9. Include citrus fruits and amla juice, which is rich in vitamin C. Packaged amla juice serves as a practical option when fresh fruit is unavailable.
10. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for fifteen to twenty seconds multiple times daily, especially before meals and after contact with public surfaces. Keep alcohol-based sanitizers available for immediate use.
