Leaked images suggest the assistant will be rebuilt to compete more directly with services such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini. A Bloomberg report indicates the company is developing a new Siri experience for iOS 27 that embeds conversational AI more deeply into the iPhone system and adds a separate chatbot application. The designs show Siri responses appearing from the Dynamic Island area rather than the existing floating animation, aiming to blend AI functions more naturally into the operating system.
