A five-day music event held to celebrate the silver jubilee of Sanketi Sangeetha Sabha ended at Hosahalli near Shivamogga on Sunday.

The main attraction was a nonstop 24-hour music program running from Saturday evening until Sunday evening. Shows continued overnight at Gamaka Bhavan, drawing local residents who are dedicated Carnatic music followers.

The lineup featured vocal and instrumental recitals plus lecture demonstrations. Aneesh Nagesh discussed Muthuswami Dikshitar’s works, while TRK Brothers Akshay and Abhishek performed several of his kritis.

The festival opened on Wednesday, May 27, and attracted music enthusiasts from multiple areas. Hosahalli K. Venkataram, president of Sanketi Sangeetha Sabha, led the opening event.
