During the initial full month of the continuing crisis in West Asia, India’s imports of crude oil dropped by 17% compared to the same period last year, based on preliminary figures from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC). Consequently, the country’s expenditure on these imports decreased by approximately 4.9% in that timeframe.
