BCN.media is a young, founder-led news platform covering India and the global Indian community. We are looking for three people to help us grow: an Editor, an Administrator and a Social Media Producer.

Who we are looking for
We are early, so these roles are broad. Tell us which one fits you best, and what else you could bring.
Editor
Own the quality of what BCN.media publishes: choose stories, edit copy, check facts and keep our coverage fair and accurate.
What you will do
- Plan daily coverage across India, World, Bharat Diaspora and our other sections
- Edit and fact-check stories before and after publication
- Review the daily e-paper edition and choose the lead stories
- Handle corrections and reader feedback on our reporting
- Apply and improve our editorial standards
What we are looking for
- Newsroom or editing experience, in print or digital
- Excellent written English; Hindi or another Indian language is a plus
- Good news judgement and a strong eye for accuracy
- Comfortable working with digital tools, including AI-assisted workflows
- Understanding of Indian and international affairs
Administrator
Keep BCN.media running smoothly behind the scenes: our website, inboxes, advertiser bookings and day-to-day operations.
What you will do
- Manage the shared inboxes and route messages to the right person
- Handle advertising enquiries and e-paper ad bookings
- Keep our WordPress site, pages and listings up to date
- Track schedules, records and simple reporting
- Support hiring and onboarding as the team grows
What we are looking for
- Experience in office, operations or website administration
- Organised, reliable and good with details
- Clear written communication
- Comfortable with WordPress, spreadsheets and email tools
- Able to work independently
