On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate executed raids at 10 sites in Delhi and Gurgaon associated with prominent real estate firm Earth Infrastructures Ltd and its key figures. During these operations, officials seized Rs 6.3 crore in cash, jewelry worth Rs 7.5 crore, silver bars, and premium timepieces. The actions were conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act of 2002 and focused on the company’s directors, promoters, and related organizations.
This investigation originates from five police reports lodged by the Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police against the firm and its leaders, accusing them of fraud, betrayal of trust, and plotting crimes as per the Indian Penal Code. Additionally, a formal accusation from the Serious Fraud Investigation Office under the Companies Act highlights claims of extensive fraudulent activities.
