OnePlus released its Pad 3 in India during June of last year, serving as the brand’s top tablet model equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Pad Go 2 followed as the latest addition, debuting in the region in December. The company has now begun promoting an upcoming tablet in its Pad lineup, offering glimpses of its appearance. Although the exact name remains unconfirmed, it may be called the Pad 3 Pro or Pad 4.
Details on the Upcoming OnePlus Tablet
Through a social media update on X, OnePlus announced the forthcoming release of a new Pad series device in India. The post included a visual of the tablet’s outline, revealing design elements. The image displays a rounded rectangular camera unit positioned in the upper-left area of the back panel. A logo is centered on the rear, and two buttons appear along one side.
A tipster, Debayan Roy, suggests this refers to the anticipated Pad 3 Pro and has disclosed potential specifications. The device is projected to include a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display supporting up to a 144Hz refresh rate.
It may feature Qualcomm’s advanced 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, combined with LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.1 storage. Reports indicate a battery of at least 13,000mAh with possible 80W fast charging capability. A 13-megapixel main camera with an LED flash is also expected. These details are unverified by the company, so they should be approached cautiously. Alternatively, some sources point to this being the Pad 4.
The existing Pad 3 flagship launched in India in June 2025, priced from Rs. 47,999 for the entry-level version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 12,140mAh battery, along with a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD screen offering up to 144Hz refresh rate.
