Taiwan-based technology firm Asus achieved a 170 percent year-on-year increase in its commercial personal computer operations in India during 2025, according to a senior company official. Asus Global co-CEO Samson Hu highlighted the firm’s strong focus on expanding its commercial segment worldwide, with particular emphasis on India. Hu noted that Asus’s global commercial operations expanded by 85 percent in 2025, accounting for 27 percent of the company’s overall international revenue. He expressed enthusiasm about the Indian market, where the commercial PC division saw a 170 percent rise compared to the previous year, positioning it as the quickest-expanding brand in that area. Hu underscored India’s key role for Asus, describing it as a primary base, and outlined ongoing investments in artificial intelligence and information technology solutions for personal computers, servers, and connected devices. Additionally, Asus is collaborating with domestic electronic manufacturing providers in India to support the nation’s manufacturing promotion program, Hu added.
