The Vivo X300 Ultra smartphone is scheduled for release in India early next month, following its initial introduction in China. It will launch alongside the Vivo X300 FE model, which is already on sale in certain international regions. Both devices are promoted for compatibility with Zeiss-branded telephoto lens attachments. Vivo is presently organizing an Imagine Labs gathering in New Delhi, where creators and business associates can explore the X300 Ultra’s specialized imaging functions. Vivo has disclosed further specifics on the X300 Ultra’s detachable telephoto accessory. The phone supports the second-generation Vivo and Zeiss telephoto extender, providing a 400mm equivalent reach, 4.7x zoom, 1GM 14G optics, CIPA 4.5 stabilization, and a Kepler design. This add-on, available separately or bundled, weighs approximately 248 grams.
The company states that the X300 Ultra can capture footage at 4K resolution and 120 frames per second using 10-bit Log in its professional video setting, enabling enhanced detail capture and greater flexibility in post-editing for color adjustments. It also includes multi-focal 4K master color recording with Dolby Vision support.
Additionally, the X300 Ultra supports multi-focal 4K slow-motion video at 120 frames per second across a zoom range from 0.6x to 20x, extendable to 1,600mm with the Zeiss telephoto accessory. Other capabilities encompass 60 fps autofocus tracking for quick shots and data transfer through USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is set to arrive in India on May 6 at noon local time. It will be offered through Flipkart in black and green variants. The device boasts a 200-megapixel main rear sensor and runs on Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
