Voting proceeded at a rapid pace across all seven Assembly constituencies in Virudhunagar district from the morning hours. By 6 p.m., more than 84.09% of eligible voters had cast their ballots, resulting in few additional votes afterward.

Polling began at 7 a.m. with a modest number of people at the booths, but crowds soon gathered at the district’s 2,001 voting locations.
