Union Home Minister Amit Shah directed officials on Wednesday to enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy on unauthorized constructions within 15 kilometers of the international border and to demolish them, according to sources.

Shah gave the instructions during a high-level security review meeting held in Bikaner. The session assessed security matters in districts along the India-Pakistan border.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, senior state officials, and district magistrates along with police superintendents from Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sri Ganganagar, and Phalodi attended.

Participants also agreed to create a 360-degree security framework for each border district. The plan seeks to integrate local residents, state machinery, and security agencies for stronger border management.
