Heavy cloudbursts struck the Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening, causing prolonged traffic disruptions and affecting daily activities. Authorities issued an alert in response. Officials reported that the incidents affected Thathri in Doda as well as Drabshalla and Sarthal in Kishtwar, with no casualties recorded. Intense rain began around 4 pm and lasted nearly an hour. Traffic on the Batote-Doda-Kishtwar highway resumed after three hours, while crews continued clearing debris from the Thathri-Drabshalla section in Machipam and Saroor into the night.
