The Cockroach Janta Party has appointed three spokespersons ahead of its planned demonstration in Delhi on Saturday. Investigative journalist Saurav Das will serve as chief spokesperson. Political researcher and author Vijeta Dahiya along with IIT Kanpur alumnus Ashutosh Ranka will also represent the group. The party, founded by Abhijeet Dipke, made the announcement in a Wednesday statement, saying the spokespersons will communicate with the public and media to shift India’s political conversation through younger leaders.
