The Ministry of Railways plans to launch a new Amrit Bharat Express linking Pune and Danapur. The service is intended to offer affordable travel for passengers from lower and lower-middle income groups while strengthening rail connections between Maharashtra and Bihar. It will be run and maintained by the Central Railway zone.

The Pune to Danapur service will carry train number 11431, and the return journey from Danapur to Pune will use number 11432. The route includes Khandwa.

On its Pune-Danapur journey, the train will stop at 19 stations: Daund Chord Line, Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara.
