Questions remain over Neymar’s fitness ahead of Brazil’s FIFA World Cup group stage game against Haiti. Despite ongoing injury concerns, coach Carlo Ancelotti included him in the squad. Neymar was left out of the starting lineup for the 1-1 draw against Morocco.

Neymar has not trained since Brazil started preparations in the United States, and his return has been postponed again. According to the Associated Press, the 34-year-old was expected to resume sessions on Monday, but further tests on his right calf were conducted instead. The Brazilian Football Federation has not released the results.

Brazil showed limited attacking threat against Morocco, with players like Raphinha and Vinicius Jr unable to create clear openings. Neymar’s presence on the bench at MetLife Stadium was noted as he offered guidance from the sidelines. Reports suggest the team aims to have him available for the round of 32.
