A 33-year-old businessman from Bengaluru was found dead inside the residence of Kannada actor Krishi Thapanda. Vaishak was discovered at her RR Nagar home on the night of June 24, 2026. Reports indicate he had sent her several messages stating his intention to end his life. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of his death. Vaishak, originally from Girinagar in Bengaluru, had been staying in an RR Nagar apartment in recent days. He was alone in the actor’s residence at the time. No suicide note or video was found at the scene. Vaishak had tried to contact Krishi earlier that evening, but she was unable to respond immediately as she was in Nelamangala. After seeing his messages, she alerted his family, who arrived to find him deceased. His father later lodged a police complaint. Authorities have registered the case as an unnatural death. Vaishak had faced prior police scrutiny this year over an alleged extortion case involving threats sent to another businessman, Aravind Reddy, demanding several crores of rupees. He was arrested in that matter but released on bail while remaining under investigation. Krishi Thapanda, a Kannada actor and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, has not issued any public statement. Her family and legal team have also remained silent.
