Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been lowered by Rs 183.50 per unit starting July 1. This brings the cost of a 19-kg cylinder in Delhi to Rs 2,930 from Rs 3,113. It marks the first cut since supply strains from the West Asia situation began to ease, providing relief to restaurants, hotels, roadside eateries and small enterprises nationwide.

Seven people died when a bus traveling from Rishikesh to Indore collided with a truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan’s Dausa district. Fire spread quickly after impact, hindering escape for passengers inside.
