New Delhi: Under Phase III of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Delhi, a total of 33,14,116 enumeration forms have been handed out, reaching 22.84 per cent of the capital’s 14.51 crore voters, the Chief Electoral Officer’s office reported.
The update released at 8:00 PM on July 3 showed that 1,02,308 forms had been digitised, covering 0.71 per cent of all electors.
North district led in distribution with 31.36 per cent, followed closely by New Delhi at 31.41 per cent and North West at 29.84 per cent.
In New Delhi, home to 1,54,192 electors, 48,429 forms were issued (31.41 per cent) and 839 digitised (0.54 per cent). Old Delhi, with 5,96,699 electors, saw 1,54,207 forms distributed (25.84 per cent) and 2,316 digitised (0.39 per cent).
Central district, serving 6,97,733 electors, distributed 1,34,138 forms (19.22 per cent) and digitised 2,659 (0.38 per cent). Central North, with 8,15,928 electors, issued 1,85,211 forms (22.70 per cent) and digitised 8,207 (1.01 per cent).
North district, covering 9,73,957 electors, distributed 3,05,464 forms (31.36 per cent) and digitised 6,759 (0.69 per cent). North West, with 12,77,126 electors, issued 3,81,072 forms (29.84 per cent) and digitised 7,460 (0.58 per cent).
North East, serving 18,70,748 electors, distributed 4,53,878 forms (24.26 per cent) and digitised 7,226 (0.39 per cent). Outer North, with 8,32,510 electors, issued 1,96,113 forms (23.56 per cent) and digitised 12,325 (1.48 per cent).
South East district, covering 15,57,289 electors, distributed 2,96,068 forms (19.01 per cent) and digitised 7,069 (0.45 per cent). South West, with 13,29,749 electors, issued 2,88,628 forms (21.71 per cent) and digitised 18,222 (1.37 per cent).
East district, serving 16,03,359 electors, distributed 2,94,572 forms (18.37 per cent) and digitised 5,545 (0.35 per cent). South, with 13,45,000 electors, issued 2,79,090 forms (20.75 per cent) and digitised 8,953 (0.67 per cent).
West district, covering 14,56,008 electors, distributed 2,97,246 forms (20.42 per cent) and digitised 14,728 (1.01 per cent). The enumeration phase runs from June 30 to July 29.
