A family traveling in a car on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway was reportedly attacked when a group of men stopped their vehicle and assaulted them. The event was recorded on the dashcam of a passing car and has circulated widely online. The family included a man, his wife, their children and an elderly woman, riding in a Maruti Suzuki Alto. The 52-second video shows the car halting before several men run toward it, open the driver’s door and strike the driver. A bystander exits another vehicle in an apparent effort to help. Police have not released an official statement or confirmed any arrests.
