Vaeshnavi Kasthuril covers consumption business from Bengaluru for Mint, tracking retail, food and beverage, and quick commerce. She graduated in 2025 from the Asian College of Journalism’s Bloomberg Business and Finance programme and joined the Mint team in May 2025. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Madras. She focuses on clear storytelling and has lived mostly in Chennai after a Malayali upbringing. She enjoys debates, music and coffee.
