The event occurred in Liwali village, where Classes 9 and 11 pupils faced the checks by two teachers following the missing-money claim. No cash was found. Students told their families upon returning home, prompting a large group of parents to assemble at the school the next day in protest. The commission stated that the reported events, if accurate, point to serious human-rights violations. It requested a full account from the state government detailing the incident and any measures taken.
