The founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, Abhijeet Dipke, became unwell on Saturday and was checked by a physician at his residence in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Rest for the day was recommended.
Doctor Vishal Lahane reported that Dipke’s blood pressure was mildly low and he had experienced vomiting along with loose motions. Intravenous fluids were administered. No fever was present at the time. Should symptoms persist, a blood test would be conducted to guide further care.
Family members noted that Dipke felt discomfort in the morning while meeting visitors in the parking area of his home. He descended at 11:45 am to speak with a waiting group but soon grew restless, moved to the back of the property where he vomited, then returned upstairs without addressing reporters.
His father, Bhagwan Dipke, stated that physicians were summoned. After the visit, Dr Lahane informed journalists that blood pressure measured 100/60. Unease and nausea since morning were attributed to stress and anxiety. Vomiting occurred several times with loose motions continuing. No fever was detected and recovery was expected with rest. A blood test would follow if improvement did not occur, with treatment adjusted accordingly.
During demonstrations at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on July 25, Dipke had mentioned a typhoid diagnosis and ongoing treatment after several days of illness. On Saturday he experienced another episode at home and was examined again with rest advised.
