Google has been ranked as India’s most appealing employer brand in the Randstad Employer Brand Research 2026, with Tata Group and Amazon placing second and third. The report, drawing from more than 175,000 respondents across 34 markets and nearly 3,500 in India, showed that 46 percent of Indian workers intend to switch jobs in the next six months while 32 percent have changed employers in the past six months. Other firms in the top 10 include Samsung India in fourth place, followed by Infosys, Reliance Industries, ITC Group, Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra & Mahindra and Dell Technologies. Core drivers for Indian talent include work-life balance, equal opportunities, career progression, pay and benefits along with strong company reputation. Randstad India’s managing director observed that with nearly half the workforce considering a move, firms must develop deeper talent approaches beyond basic perks. As India attracts more global investment, organizations adapting their strategies will lead in hiring and retention. The findings point to an era of the balanced employer, where meaningful work, growth, inclusivity, well-being, flexibility and rewards are delivered together. Recognition of performance and career continuity, supported by reliable compensation, form key elements of job security. While most specializations share similar priorities, digital talent places greater emphasis on salary and is more prone to depart over limited advancement.
