A video of a confrontation between Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke and a police officer circulated widely on social media on Friday. The footage shows Dipke, who organized student protests at Jantar Mantar regarding the NEET paper leak, speaking with a police sub-inspector assigned to security at his home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Dipke accused the officer of rudeness toward visitors and of limiting access to his residence in the Waluj MIDC area. He requested the officer’s removal. Dipke, who received security due to threats and crowd management needs, also alleged that plainclothes state CID personnel were present nearby and sharing updates in a social media group called ‘Hit Spray’, according to PTI. Two videos, one 56 seconds long, spread online. In them, Dipke criticizes the officer’s conduct, questions restrictions on visitors, and demands his reassignment during a phone call to a senior official. Mint did not confirm the videos’ authenticity.
