He also raised concerns about irregular transfers of Urdu, Arabic and Persian instructors in government schools and called for the appointment of Urdu and Sanskrit teachers across all such institutions. The letter, dated August 10, 2026, was made public the following day. The opposition leader noted ongoing complaints about the transfer process, claiming that some teachers of these subjects were wrongly labeled surplus despite adequate student numbers and that certain posts had been eliminated. He described the moves as undermining fairness and transparency. Both Sanskrit and Urdu represent elements of India’s cultural legacy, he stated, and the administration should ensure equal support for each. He urged a review of the transfer lists, cancellation of improper transfers, protection of sanctioned posts, and immediate clearance of salary arrears affecting staff at the aided institutions. The letter also sought accountability for any procedural violations.
