Energy security was stressed to lessen reliance on imports amid global tensions, with targets set for 200 GW of nuclear power and five new reactors. The Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam reached a key stage, and the SHANTI Act aims for 100 GW by 2047. The Aatmanirbhar Bharat push calls for greater domestic production in energy and minerals. Semiconductor facilities are expanding, with up to eight additional plants expected in seven to eight years. Partnerships on critical minerals are growing. The Viksit Bharat goal targets developed-nation status by 2047 through large ambitions and innovation.
