The Indian archery team will be without the experienced Deepika Kumari and Jyothi Surekha Vennam in the Bangkok leg of the Asia Cup. Watch live!

World No. 4 men’s compound archer Rishabh Yadav and Asian Games team gold medallist Prathamesh Jawkar will lead India at the Asia Cup 2026 Stage-1 archery tournament to be held at Bangkok’s SAT Football Stadium from Tuesday.

A 16-member Indian squad – eight men and eight women – will be in action across recurve and compound archery events. The Asia Cup 2026 Bangkok archery finals will be available to watch on live streaming in India.

Rishabh Yadav has been one of India’s most consistent compound archers in recent years.

At the World Archery Championships last year in Gwangju, Rishabh Yadav, along with Aman Saini and Prathamesh Fuge, clinched India’s first-ever gold medal in the men’s compound team event at the global showpiece.

Yadav also teamed up with Jyothi Vennam to claim a World Championships silver in the compound mixed team event. While they fell just short of gold, the result carried added weight, with the discipline set to make its Olympic debut at LA 2028.

Jyothi Vennam, second in the women’s compound archery individual world rankings, is not competing at the opening leg of the continental rankings series.

Chikitha Taniparthi will be India’s top-ranked women’s compound archer in Bangkok.

Anshika Kumari (world No. 96) and Devaang Gupta (world No. 104) will be India’s top-ranked recurve archers in women’s and men’s events, respectively.

The Asia Cup 2026 Bangkok archery tournament will conclude on March 27.
