The 1,748-kilometer Arunachal Frontier Highway, running roughly alongside the LAC, shows how such routes serve multiple purposes. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, founder and managing director of Chaitanya Projects Consultancy, called the planned initiative a forward-looking and essential strategic step. He added that it would narrow the gap in road access with nearby nations and speed up troop movements.
