The individuals were named as Aditya Pandey, Pawan Kumar Singh, Ravishankar Kumar, Santosh Kumar Singh, Sanand Prakash, Lalu Kumar Yadav and Saurabh Kumar Pandey. Searches occurred across multiple districts as investigators worked to locate those involved. The matter concerns claimed irregularities in JPSC exams. Officials reported beginning to compare OMR sheets gathered during the probe and review collected materials. The agency stated inquiries continue and further steps will follow based on gathered proof. Action against anyone implicated remains in progress under legal provisions. Separately, Ranchi Police filed an FIR against around 300 unknown persons over the August 10 assembly march. Demonstrators continue pressing for cancellation of the JSSC-CGL exam, a central probe, and recruitment changes, claiming partial government response. Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto, on hunger strike for 11 days, urged unity from his hospital bed and warned against efforts to split the movement. Another protester, Prem Nayak, reported possible fresh talks with officials on the 12th day of his fast amid health concerns.
