India versus Sri Lanka live score: India’s spinners Manav Suthar and Ravindra Jadeja applied pressure as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 284 on day three of the first Test. Despite Sonal Dinusha’s first international century, India secured a 178-run lead after the opening innings. Suthar took 4 for 76 and Jadeja claimed 3 for 57 as the visitors recovered following Sri Lanka’s fightback in the middle session. Mohammed Siraj struck early when Nishan Fernando edged to slip. Suthar then removed Dinesh Chandimal with his first ball. Lahiru Udara and Kamindu Mendis steadied the innings briefly before Suthar dismissed Udara. Mendis fell to a diving catch off Kuldeep Yadav. Jadeja later accounted for Dhananjaya de Silva. Suthar and Jadeja maintained control despite resistance from Dinusha and Dickwella.
