Winning just one Grand Slam title is one of the biggest achievements in tennis and is right at the top of every player’s bucket list. However, some of the greatest tennis players in history have taken the game to a whole new level, winning multiple slams over the course of decades. Here’s a list of the players that hold the most grand slam titles in singles and doubles tennis:

Most Grand Slam Titles – Men’s Singles
For years, the race for most grand slam titles in men’s singles has been a three way battle between three of the greatest male tennis players in history: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic. Djokovic, who clinched his latest Grand Slam title at the 2023 US Open, now stands at the top of the pile with a staggering 24 titles in total and with Nadal and Federer both retired, it seems extremely unlikely that he’ll ever be surpassed.
That said, a young spaniard by the name of Carlos Alcaraz recently picked up his 7th Grand Slam title at the 2026 Australian Open and became the youngest man to complete the Career Grand Slam. Last year he joined Rafael Nadal as the youngest player to achieve 5 Grand Slam Titles, faster than both Federer or Djokovic, and is well on his way to challenge for the record. Fellow Next-Gen star Jannik Sinner, who clinched his fourth Grand Slam title at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships is also a favourite to challenge for the record.
