New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has been added to the India A squad for the upcoming tri-nation series in Sri Lanka, the BCCI announced on Sunday. Riyan Parag, Rajasthan Royals skipper, suffered a hamstring injury during the IPL and is likely to miss nearly three months for recovery. The tri-series with Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A starts on June 9. The selection committee stated Gaikwad replaces vice-captain Parag, who is ruled out due to the injury. Parag’s rehabilitation will be overseen by the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
