The founder of Cockroach Janta Party said Wednesday he would attend a hearing before a committee of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology regarding the suspension of the group’s X account. The ministry had directed him to appear in person at its headquarters for the proceeding. In a post on his own account, he stated he would meet the review committee at 3 PM concerning the account action. He is currently leading a protest sit-in at Jantar Mantar and has declined to leave the site.
