As the investigation into the death of 25-year-old Ketan Agarwal continues, a taxi driver who transported Ketan and accused Siya Goyal to Mumbai Airport has provided important details. The driver stated that Siya requested a stop on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, opened the trunk, and removed an item from her bag before they reached the airport, where Ketan’s passport was later reported missing. This detail has gained attention as police examine the alleged disappearance of the passport ahead of the couple’s planned pre-wedding shoot in Bali, suggesting it was intentionally hidden. The driver, Vaibhav Jadhav, described the trip in an interview. He picked up passengers from Pune around 10 a.m., noting that Siya initially resisted entering the vehicle until her brother Sahil insisted. Ketan joined them later at Ravet. During the drive on the expressway, Siya asked for a tea stop at a food mall. After about ten minutes, she returned and requested the trunk be opened, then retrieved something from her bag inside it. Roughly fifteen to twenty minutes later, the group resumed the journey to the airport. Jadhav dropped them off and soon received a call about a forgotten small bag, which he returned after turning back. Shortly after, another call claimed Ketan’s passport had fallen inside the taxi, but Jadhav found nothing after checking. The passengers asked for a video call to inspect the interior, yet the document remained missing. They then requested he return to the airport, where Sahil and Ketan searched the vehicle themselves without success. Jadhav also noted ongoing arguments between Siya and Sahil from Pune until Ketan boarded. Police have described the passport incident as part of a broader scheme leading to Ketan’s death at Lohagad Fort. His father expressed suspicion over how only one passport vanished from a shared pouch during the journey. Officers later recreated the crime scene at the fort using a mannequin to illustrate the fall.
