JSW Steel reported a profit more than twice as high as the previous year, reaching 4,696 crore for the June quarter. Strong revenue expansion and increased output supported the improved results. Consolidated operating revenue climbed nearly 10 percent year-on-year to 47,364 crore. Expenses rose by less than 4 percent over the same period, boosting margins. Net debt also declined notably during the quarter.
