Highlighting India’s GDP growth despite pressures on oil and fertilisers from the West Asia crisis, along with the first private orbital rocket launch and the country’s first hydrogen-powered train, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the Monsoon Session begins as the nation gathers momentum and Parliament’s spirit can add fresh energy. Speaking to reporters in the Parliament complex, he stated there is no need for confrontation where arguments and facts exist. He expressed hope that facts, arguments and every voice receive opportunity and respect. Modi noted the session starts when the country has gathered speed and that a constructive spirit is essential to meet national goals.
