Indian boy band OutStation has issued its new single titled ‘Homecoming’ together with a personal music video. The song provides an early look at the group’s first EP, also called ‘Homecoming’, which is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026. The five-member act was assembled by songwriter and producer Savan Kotecha and has quickly gained attention as one of India’s rising pop groups. The track examines feelings tied to leaving family behind in pursuit of larger goals. It draws from the members’ own relocation to Mumbai and captures the mix of doubt and optimism felt by young adults beginning fresh stages in their lives. The song is aimed at young professionals and others who have moved away from home for new prospects. The band stated that the single reflects experiences shared over the past year and noted plans for a 10-city tour on the Homecoming Bus. The video focuses on personal narrative rather than polished imagery, following one member’s return from urban pressures to his family residence. It addresses themes of isolation and career challenges in an unfamiliar city. Filming occurred in the member’s actual hometown of Udupi, Karnataka, using his family home and relatives to maintain authenticity. The release comes amid strong interest in the upcoming tour, with over 50,000 fans registering for stops in Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Pune and Mumbai. Supporters have arranged poster drives, shared music online and joined informal gatherings. The group has performed for crowds larger than 200,000 and drew more than 10,000 attendees at an event in Guwahati. Signed to Visva Records, OutStation previously released singles ‘Tum Se’ and ‘Aaj Kal’. The new single and video are streaming now, with the full EP due worldwide on July 31, 2026.
