Karan Singh Grover made a surprise return in the latest promo for Gram Chikitsalay Season 2. He reprises his well-known character Dr Armaan Malik from the earlier medical drama Dill Mill Gayye, which aired between 2007 and 2010. More than sixteen years later, the actor appears once again in a medical setting. The brief appearance has generated strong nostalgic reactions among viewers who recall the original series. The promo also shows Amol Parashar as Dr Prabhat and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor as Dr Gargi. Grover enters with his familiar wink and correctly identifies a patient’s condition, surprising the other doctors. When asked if he will visit Bhatkandi, he replies with a smile that he comes only to hearts, not to that location. The line immediately reminded audiences of the earlier show. Dr Armaan Malik remains one of the most memorable characters in Indian television. Grover’s performance left a lasting impression that continues to resonate. The promo triggered widespread nostalgic comments on social media. One viewer noted that the return brought back strong memories and caused emotional reactions. Another remarked that the charm and presence felt unchanged. A third comment called for a full series rather than a short appearance. The responses highlight the continued affection for the character. Many fans expressed interest in seeing Grover in a longer project. Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 features Amol Parashar in the lead role of Dr Prabhat Sinha. The cast includes Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, Garima Vikrant Singh, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor as Dr Gargi, Vinay Pathak, and several other actors. The series became available on Prime Video on June 23, 2026. Grover’s brief return has renewed attention for the new season.
