Simone Ashley shared images from her recent luxury beach trip in Panama. The 31-year-old actress appeared in a pink floral bikini while sunbathing and later changed into a green triangle bikini for paddleboarding. She cooled off in the water, pushed back her wet hair, and posed with a companion. A woven hat protected her from the sun as the pair rested under palm trees wrapped in towels and enjoyed snacks. The getaway followed a busy year that included her role as Amari, Miranda Priestly’s new assistant, in The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. Ashley described her character as confident and mysterious, noting a key early scene with Streep. She also stars in This Tempting Madness as Mia, a woman recovering from a coma and questioning her husband’s arrest for attempted murder. Two additional films, Peaked and Falling, are in development. Outside acting, Ashley released her debut EP, Songs I Wrote in New York, on April 10 with producer Fraser T Smith.
