The official trailer for The Cycle of Love has been released by London-based documentary firm Dogwoof. The true story is executive produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and directed by Academy Award winner Orlando von Einsiedel. It stars Mumbai-born British actor Chirag Benedict Lobo and will open in UK and Irish cinemas on September 18, 2026, after its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival. The film recounts the real journey of Indian artist PK Mahanandia, who in 1977 cycled 6,000 miles from Delhi to Europe to reunite with Swedish visitor Lotta. Set in 1970s India, it depicts his efforts to overcome social and geographic obstacles. Lobo portrays the lead role, drawing on his stage and screen experience. The production team behind Virunga and The White Helmets gained access to personal archives of photos, videos and letters. Produced by Grain Media and Kalabati Pictures with several partners, the film has drawn international interest for its themes of resilience and hope.
