The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has introduced a 10-day escorted tour to Japan departing from Delhi. The package, named Japan Ex Delhi, begins on September 6, 2026, and lasts nine nights. It includes return economy flights from Delhi, stays in four-star hotels, Japan tourist visa fees, all meals, airport transfers, air-conditioned coach sightseeing, an English-speaking guide, and travel insurance for those under 70. The itinerary covers Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Hiroshima. Highlights include visits to Asakusa Temple, Ueno Park, Mount Fuji’s fifth station, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Ropeway, a pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi, and a ride on the Shinkansen bullet train. In Kyoto, participants explore historic temples and traditional areas. Osaka offers its renowned food scene, Nara features free-roaming deer and ancient temples, and Hiroshima includes memorials and museums. Pricing starts at 345,999 rupees per person on triple sharing, with higher rates for twin sharing or single occupancy and reduced fees for children. The tour returns to Delhi on September 15. Japan has grown popular among Indian visitors for its blend of modern efficiency, historic sites, and natural attractions.
