Sara Tendulkar chose an unusual approach to wearing a saree for her recent magazine cover photoshoot. She combined a soft pastel green Banarasi saree with an ivory corset instead of a standard blouse. The look appeared traditional at first but included a modern detail through the structured top. The corset was strapless and made from satin silk and organza silk, featuring a sweetheart neckline that added a contemporary shape to the outfit. The saree itself was a Katan silk Banarasi handloom piece with delicate floral motifs. It came from Tilfi and required little additional styling due to its detailed weave. The contrast between the sleek corset and the soft, flowing saree created visual interest. Accessories were kept minimal, consisting of a diamond necklace with cascading elements and a matching cuff. Makeup focused on softly defined eyes, shaped brows, glowing skin and a muted rosy lip. Hair was styled in a neat updo with a few loose strands around the face. The overall effect kept the Banarasi saree as the main element while the corset altered the mood of the ensemble.
