A new dispute has arisen between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following Delhi BJP leader Parvesh Verma’s presentation of photographs of Arvind Kejriwal’s residence at 95 Lodhi Estate during a press briefing. Verma accused the former Delhi chief minister of transforming the government property into an extravagant ‘Sheesh Mahal 2’.
Shortly afterward, AAP leader and former chief minister Atishi dismissed the allegations, asserting that the BJP had used fabricated images sourced from Pinterest, an online platform where users share visual content.
In a pointed statement on the social media site X, Atishi condemned the dissemination of misleading information through unrelated internet pictures.
