Supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party gathered at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. They accused him of direct responsibility for recent leaks in national examinations including NEET. The party’s founder arrived from the United States that morning and obtained permission from Delhi Police to hold the demonstration between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Security measures were increased around residences of senior officials including the prime minister, home minister and education minister.
