District Collector S. Venkateswar inspected the Special Intensive Revision process on Friday, June 26, 2026, by joining staff and Booth Level Agents at Tiruchanur in Tirupati rural mandal. He visited Sankar Naidu Colony, observed officials meeting residents, and instructed teams to interact more effectively to raise registration numbers and ensure enrolment forms reach all eligible people. The Collector also stressed comparing current voting data with records from 2002. Later, at Auto Nagar in Tirupati urban mandal, he heard public complaints about drainage and drinking water issues. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saradha Devi, Assistant Commissioner Amaraiah, and Urban Tahsildar Suresh Babu were present during the visit.
