Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju criticized statements by certain Telangana leaders against Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan. He noted that democratic expression of views is acceptable but intimidation tactics have no role in politics.

In a post on X, he called the threat to cut out Pawan Kalyan’s tongue unacceptable and said such abusive remarks against a leader devoted to public service would not be tolerated. Raju added that those who support Telangana may advocate for its people when required.

He expressed hope that the two states would advance with mutual respect and pledged support to the Deputy Chief Minister following debate over his plan to contest the 2028 Telangana Assembly elections.
