Two years after India labeled him a terrorist, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of gangster Goldy Brar. He is wanted for alleged ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which was targeted in Operation Hard Ball, a multinational effort against organized crime.
A native of Faridkot in Punjab, Brar, whose real name is Satinderjeet Singh, was previously based in Canada after arriving on a student visa in 2017. He faces charges in India for multiple killings and is accused of orchestrating the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
The FBI claims Brar now operates from the United States as leader of the group in North America. A federal arrest warrant was issued on July 1, 2026, in the Central District of California for racketeering conspiracy, extortion, and drug trafficking offenses.
According to the FBI, Brar has connections to Sacramento and Fresno in California, as well as Canada, India, and Mexico. He is accused of involvement in violent acts including assassinations, shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortions, assaults, and trafficking of narcotics and weapons.
Indian agencies link him to Babbar Khalsa International, a designated terrorist group. He is said to have participated in killings, made extortion threats, and used drones to smuggle arms and explosives.
Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice against him. India has placed him under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Brar previously claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s killing and other crimes before splitting from Lawrence Bishnoi.
