Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Thursday for their third annual summit in Melbourne. The leaders are expected to address cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, critical minerals, education ties and other shared priorities. External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal noted Modi’s arrival and warm reception. Modi will co-chair the summit and meet stakeholders to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. In a post on X, Modi said the visit would boost bilateral ties and include engagement with the Indian community in Australia.
