Investigators are analyzing footage to identify those involved in attacks and vandalism. They are also checking social media for false claims, including unverified reports of deaths and injuries, and examining possible roles of political groups or external accounts in spreading rumors.
Activist Sonam Wangchuk, fasting at Safdarjung Hospital, announced he would continue his protest. He cited police action against demonstrators and called for students to present grievances directly to Parliament.
