This appearance follows recent youth demonstrations in the capital regarding exam irregularities. Modi noted that students should value their entire academic journey and anticipate new beginnings. He stressed the importance of increasing female participation in top academic positions and creating supportive conditions for women in research and innovation. The leader observed that the world is changing rapidly due to shifts in technology and global dynamics, yet continuous learning will remain essential for success. He highlighted the contributions of young people to India’s startup growth, noting examples from the institute. Modi also promoted research opportunities through various government programs, including substantial funding and access to international journals. He cited progress in semiconductor manufacturing as evidence that complex goals can be achieved, and advised breaking large problems into smaller parts to overcome them.
